Summer 2021, I relocated to a very different environment: the UAE, based in Dubai.
So far... Incredible architecture, a built environment where the buildings are art pieces in themselves, futuristic, engaging, and all set within a desert environment. From my artist's perspective it is new and challenging and I am looking forward in the future to exhibiting the work I am painting here.

Chasing the Aurora Borealis Laura and The Northern Lights Tromso, Northern Norway
Since my exhibition, "Chasing Volcanoes" at Filmbase, Dublin, I have fulfilled a long term painting goal of traveling through the Arctic. In September - October 2018 I spent time chasing the Northern Lights at 200km North of the Arctic Circle and saw a lot of success. Since that incredible experience I have been painting my Aurora Borealis and Arctic Journey, with a working title of "Time To Look Up".

Parallel Projects
Concurrently, I am working on the many wildscape adventures I have had so far, to places that include such evocative names as The Craters of the Moon (Idaho), Yellowstone (Wyoming), the Great Salt Plains of Utah and the Tibetan Plateau.
